The faint drumbeat of footsteps sounded from afar. A golden pelt wandered through the trees like a ghost searching for a home. Jeismenh found herself alone surrounded by the trees of the jungle. ‘Where am I?’ she whimpered to herself as her dull golden eyes searched endlessly for a place to rest. All she could remember was being washed by the overpowering current, fighting for her life to get to the shore but the waves would just wash over her head and pull her down. She lifted her massive head that felt as heavy as a rock from gulping down to much water. The sun was clearly rising above her whilst the sun rays dried her fur. Jeismenh would enjoy to just lay down, enjoying the warmth, but she was smart enough to know better. ‘I’ve got to keep moving.’ she urged herself forward. Her stomach ached and grumbled until she moaned with pain.
‘I have to stop and rest.’ Jeismenh then decided after a while of pathless walking. What else could she do? Most of her energy had been drained by the flood yet her stomach yearned for food to rest inside of it. Soon her legs buckled and she collapsed, gasping on the ground. There was a sudden eerie silence as Jeismenh’s lungs struggled to fill with air. She closed her eyes and the sudden memory of the whole flood appeared in the darkness of her mind. White-water waves pelting her against her side, blue depths that seemed endless below her and the fear of drowning flooding into her whole body, making her still with complete terror. Thos were the things that she remembered and she knew the memory would stay just like the memory of her hidden past...

History:
More or less, Jeismenh was as brave and fearless as a kit like today. But her fear hadn’t disappeared. It is just hidden. Deep within the center of her mind, forever locked up and once in a while slipping out.
Her kit-hood was a terrible time for her. Her mother had disappeared after giving birth to her brother an herself. Her father was left to care for them, but food was low and it was tough to feed both of them. Jeismenh would always be left alone whilst her brother continued wolfing down her only dinner with a wild gaze in his eyes. Soon that gaze soon became a blood-thirsty glare that led to aggressive fighting that also led to most of Jeismenh’s injuries. Her father would never notice for he was always off and patrolling the territory. Often he would come back and find terrible wounds on Jeismenh from her brother’s ‘play-fighting’. But that all soon stopped when one terrible day separated and nearly killed all of the small family.
Fire had sprouted in their territory and the small group didn't notice it until the flames were completely surrounding them. Her father immediately took them through the flames toward a large cave which he thought was ‘safe’. But that was just foolish. The flame immediately followed them through the tunnel and into the cavern where they tried to seek safely. Her father, without thinking about his own safely grabbed both his precious kits and ran through the flame. They made it out of the cave but it was to late. The fire had singed through their father’s fur and he died once the two kits reached safe ground. Jeismenh could remember his pitiful cry as he tried to withstand the heat but it was just to much. Both of them were in shock for a moment as they watched the fire burn the whole forest. But soon Jeismenh’s brother recovered from the loss and decided to go off on his own. Later, Jeismenh found out that he had stumbled into a deep river and drowned.
Part of Pack: She was a loner before.
Other: Hope I did it right. ^^' xD Just tell me if I need to change anything. :3
